Father's Day Poem For John

I came across this poem.. if you have a husband and a daughter you must share this poem with him.

Remember you're her daddy
when she's crying late at night,
when she needs a little loving
to know that it's alright.
Remember you're her daddy
when dolly's lost an arm,
when you take the time to fix it
because you can't resist her charm.
Remember you're her daddy
when she's had a real rough day,
when school's been pretty tough on her
and nothings went her way.
Remember you're her daddy
when she goes on her first date,
when you tell her to be in by ten
and she's not home 'till late.
Remember you're her daddy
when she makes you very proud,
when in a very awkward way
she stands out in a crowd.
Remember you're her daddy
the first man she's ever kissed,
and when you go away
you'll be very, very, missed.
Remember you're her daddy
remember I'm your wife,
we know that you'll love us
for the rest of your life.

Glider!

I am sooo excited about the glider! (Thanks Ann!) John put it together last night so we also put the rug down, that you can see from the picture. Once the room is totally 'together' I will post more pictures.

Last chance get-away... Hershey, PA

John and I got a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather in Hershey, PA. We wanted to spend some quality time together and feel like we were on vacation before the baby comes. It was a simple but fun weekend. We went mini-golfing and we went to Chocolate World. And of course ate lots of chocolate! One thing I learned while mini-golfing - the constant bending up and down to pick up the golf ball in between holes is not easy when you're pregnant!

As you will see from the pictures, we had a Hershey bar label made at Chocolate World. I insisted on putting the baby's name on the label, so this is what John came up with. We thought it would be funny to show the baby later on. :-) But of course we censored out the name! You will have to wait until September!

Officially in my third trimester!

Can you believe it? In three short months, I am going to be a MOMMY! I just pray that I make it through the summer. I have never sweat so much in my life, and summer hasn't even officially started!

Anyway, we celebrated Laura's birthday over the weekend and we had a great time. Here are some pictures!
